Below you will find information about bereavement groups, literature that might be helpful, and names of Mental Health Professionals that were suggested by other grieving families, or came highly recommended.  There are also resources for the Spanish speaking community, as well as mental health professionals of diverse ethnicities.

  4. The Compassionate Friends -Supporting Family After a Child Dies: The Compassionate Friends is a nonprofit, self-help support organization for families who have experienced the death of a child of any age from any cause. There is no religious affiliation or membership requirements.

  5. Dreams from Drake: Dreams from Drake offers support to children and teens who have suffered the loss of a sibling or parent. Dreams from Drake offers

The Josh Rojas Foundation:  Supports families by providing compassion and empathy during a difficult time, sharing invaluable resources to help process grief, providing information regarding a congenital condition known as Megalencephaly, offering monetary recognition of the youth of the community, and so much more.
